
Limpopo Public Works MEC Ernest Rachoene has tabled the 2025/2026 budget at the provincial legislature in Lebokwakgomo.Rachoene said through the Dikgerekgere program, the department has managed to re-gravel 117 kilometers of road network, blade and patch potholes.
Rachoene has also allocated Road Agency Limpopo over 900 million rands to tar roads in the province.

Rachoene announced that several road projects in the province have been completed, in Sekhukhune, Capricorn, Waterberg, and Vhembe regions. Some of the roads include:
Thaphane to Nwamitwa, Atok to Ga-Selepe, Malope to Phokwane, Mmamatonya road
Rachoene says they are almost complete with the following road projects:
Tshatshama Road – 97%
Glecowi to Ga-Malaka – 74%
Musekwa to Maranikwe – 58 %
Blouberg Hospital to Buffelshoek – 78%

Rachoene said they are working with SANRAL to commence with construction of the St Engenas Christian Church road interchange. Rachoene said the contractor will be appointed in April with work expected to start soon.
The road project has been allocated 125 million rand.
