Limpopo ANC Youth League Secretary Phineas Sebola is demanding disciplinary action against Boy Mamabaolo for his derogatory comments on social media targeting Onica Kwakwa. Sebola emphasizes that Mamabaolo’s insults contradict the ANC’s non-sexist stance, which promotes equality and respect for all individuals, regardless of gender.
“Cde Boy Mamabolo’s utterances are not only unethical and un-African, but they are a violation of the ANC’s Rule 25 from the ANC’s constitution. We therefore call on the ANC to take urgent decisive actions against Cde Boy Mamabolo. The ANCYL Limpopo will formally write to the ANC to demand immediate disciplinary actions against Cde Boy Mamabolo. The ANCYL further calls on the ANCWL to break its silence on such attacks against their NEC member, Cde Onnica Kwaka. It’s characters like Boy Mamabolo that which women feel less of themselves and fail to deal with this now, more and more young women will continue to live in fear of men like Boy Mamabolo. It’s against our view that this matter would be left unattended” Sebola said

Over the weekend Boy Mamabolo took to Facebook where he called Kwakwa all sorts of names. It is still not clear what sparked the range. Mamabolo has since responded to ANC communications saying he will not be bullied anymore.

Mamabolo has also taken the stance by ANC Veterance league and ANC Youth League to his lawyers. In a statement Mamabolo accused all structures of negatively influencing the ANC Displinary Commitee to have him removed.
