Many South Africans have lambasted Operation Dudula for celebrating the death of 42 passengers who died during the bus crash on the N1 outside Louis Trichardt in Limpopo. The deceased are reportedly foreign nationals who were en route to Zimbabwe and Zambia. Following the crash, many Dudula members commented on social media, saying.
“God has answered our prayers.”
“Ma Bahambeee,” as in they must die
“Is the bus okay?”
These are some of the comments from members who commented.
Operation Dudula has come under scrutinity following their acts of barring foreign nationals from access to healthcare and schools. Dudula says they want the government to prioritise South Africans first.
Following the comments, many South Africans took to social media to call our Dudula. Some have called in those in the comments section who did not show remorse as lacking Ubuntu.
