Popular Thobela FM breakfast show presenter Lenny-T has taken legal action against the radio station. He has approached the Polokwane High Court to prevent Thobela FM from hiring a replacement for his position on the Ditla le Meso Breakfast show. This move follows controversy surrounding his removal from the show despite having a signed contract.
The interdict seeks to prevent Thobela FM from appointing a new presenter until the dispute over Lenny-T’s sudden removal is resolved. Lenny-T was removed from the show three weeks ago and subsequently barred from entering the SABC premises by management.

Last week, hundreds of listeners marched to Thobela FM, demanding Lenny-T’s reinstatement to the show. The protesters also warned that they would boycott all Thobela FM programs if Lenny-T was not brought back.
