Limpopo Newspaper has learned that Thobela FM is going ahead to replace popular Ditla le Meso presenter Lenny-T. According to insider, the SABC will bring a new host called Sandile Dikgare to co-host with Lejoy tommorrow.Thobela FM’s decision comes despite backlash from listeners to bring back Lenny-T.
Lenny-T was abruptly removed from the popular show despite signing the contract. From the documents shown to Limpopo Newspaper, Lenny-T signed the contract on the 2nd of April 2025 but two days later he was told by Thobela Fm managers that his contract was terminated.
Last week, Lenny-T was refused access to the SABC building by security and was harassed when reporting for duty. Listeners held a protest outside SABC offices to demand that Lenny-T be reinstated.
The ANC Youth league in Limpopo has called on Thobela Fm to reinstate Lenny-T. Youth league Secreatary Phineas Sebola said “Despite the listners boycott of Thobela Fm ,managers chose to disregard listeners choice and went ahead an unileterally implement the new choice. Listners who led a protest to Thobela Fm last week says they are still to recieve ansers from the station regarding Lenny-T’s future.We will not stop until Lenny-T is reinstated.
