The ANC Youth League and Progressive Youth Alliance partners have given Limpopo Premier Phophi Ramathuba a directive to appoint its Youth League Chairperson Faith Sebopela as the MEC as a matter of ugency. The Youth League and its progressive Alliance made this decision during its 3 day summit held in Polokwane.
The calls come months after Sebopela was elected as the first female chairperson of the Youth League in Limpopo. During a media briefing held at Franss Mohalala a few months ago, ANC Youth league Provincial Secretary Phineas Sebola said that Sebopela has the capabilities to lead the province and bring change to the administration, and assist young people.
Sebola also said they want Sebopela as the MEC of any Department except the Department of Sports.
Sebopela has been without blue lights since elected as the leader of the youth league during the 11th Provincial Congress held at Jack Botes Hall in February.
