Former Bafana Bafana striker Lerato Chabangu has opened up on his rehabilitation experience, urging the football fraternity to keep supporting others like him – facing similar life challenges.
Chabangu recently checked in at Hope of Achievers Rehabilitation Centre in Limpopo after battling with alcohol addiction.
This is not the first time that the former Mamelodi Sundowns star enters a rehab centre. More recently, the 39-year-old checked in at the Tranquillity Rehab centre in Randburg for a month and a half.

Chabangu has openly spoken about his personal struggles after the abrupt end of his football career. He has been admitted at centre in Ga-Mothapo outside Polokwane.
“I have settled very well. It’s unlike the first time I came here as I was dizzy and all that,”he said
