Disgraced Road Agency Limpopo (RAL) Former CEO, Gabriel Maluleke has settled out of court with Public Works over his dismmissmal. Malulelek was dismissed in November last year following allged incolvement in corruption and misconduct.
His termination followed his suspension in August 2024, when he faced charges of dishonesty, financial misconduct,negligence and over commitment to projects.
Maluleke sought the intervention of the high court to overturn his dissmissal. Following a 5-months legal battle, Maluleke has amicabely settled with RAL.
Road MEC Ernest Rachuene has welcomed the settlement “This constructive settlement paves the way for the new appointment of the Board of Directors and new CEO which will be finalised in due course. Rachuene said the settlement will allow RAL to focus on its core mandate of upgrading roads in the province”
