MATHABA MISSES PEC MEETING DUE TO KOMA

Limpopo ANC Chaiperson Stand Mathabatha

Limpopo ANC Chairperson Stan Mathabatha has missed the Provicnial Executive Comittee meeting today as he is till enrolled at initiation school. Mathabatha who is 68 has been enrolled at the initiation school in Tjiane Village, Ga-Mphahlele to attain passage to manhood.

According to information, Mathabatha went to the initiation school last Friday, accompanied by the Tjiane Traditional leader and some comrades. The traditional leader will oversee the process to initiate Mathabatha.

From those inside, Mathabatha is interacting with fellow initiates who are oblivious to his presence. It has also been reported that a special tent has been erected for him.

Mathabatha who is a former premier of Limpopo and the current chairperson of the ANC is instrumental in the day-to-day running of the party. Today, during a PEC meeting he was nowhere to be found to chair the meeting. An excuse for his absence was acknowledged.

ANC Deputy Chairperson Florence Radzilani instead was the one chairing the meeting. When delivering the apologies on the absence of Mathabatha, Radzilani did not divulge much but rather said that
“due to other commitments, the chairperson could not be available”
